LOCAL BUS AND OPAL CARD
If you know you want to explore the region or travel to and from the Ramada at your leisure, an Opal card is a must. The purchase location near the Ramada is your best bet (if you don't already have an Opal card), as you can register on your arrival and then go next door and purchase an opal card at Shoal Bay Newsagency.
You cannot pay on the bus, so you will need an opal card. Below are some of the local locations you can purchase this card. You don't pay for the card, only the amount of funds you want to put onto the card.
